chain drive garage door opener seems to be working fine but buzzes constantly. its only been installed for 2 weeks and just started this, looked through manual and could not find anything any ideas???

If you mean that it makes noise even when not opening or closing and it is a HUM then it is a transformer with loose laminations.

If that is the problem the transormer can last for years and still do that. It can be very annonying so I would go ahead and return it or get warantee sercvice.

thanks for the reply!! it is very annoying while working in the garage with that thing humming constantly!! im going to call monday again to see what they say thanks again

took motor back to osh and they replaced it with no problems installed new one and works great!!
