I need to replace a double wall oven that is 26" wide. It is in a cabinet so I cannot go larger and I really would not like to go smaller. I have an old Hotpoint. Does anything currently exist that will fit into this space? Thanks, Maddie

Since you never actually supplied the measurements *of the space it fits into* (aka the 'cutout' - which is most important), that will be difficult for anyone to say. I do not know of any 26" wide models currently on the market (nor have I ever seen one in the past).

Unfortunately, I don't know the cutout size since the double unit is currently in the cabinet and I have never taken it out. I can repair it this time since I have the needed part which I bought a few years ago in error (broiler unit). I'm embarrased to say that this oven is 31 years old. A Hotpoint. Catalogue # RK777OR1HT. So I'm afraid a time will come when I can no longer find the parts to repair it. The reason I still have the oven is because I haven't seen a 26" wide oven that could replace it. The Kitchen has been updated but space is a problem so I am limited to the spot where the ovens need to be.
I was just hoping that someone might know of a 26" model. I think I'll just keep hoping that parts will continue to be available for this one.

That's a very odd size as I said. There are some 27" models (see the link below) but again, the actual cut out size is usually more critical than just its exterior measurements.

Someone would likely need to at least pull it out a bit to get it. It shouldn't need to be completely removed. The depth should be a fairly standard ~24" (the same as most counter tops) so that measurement likely isn't critical.

Thank you Dan. I'll take a look at the links. I guess I will have to get the oven pulled out a bit to measure the cutout space. Hopefully, a 27" will fit into it. Thanks again, Maddie
