We just had our covered patio enclosed. Please give some options for a small pad outside the sliding door. The grass has been destroyed by the contractor walking in and out. I have never used cement myself; was considering pavers, bricks,fieldstone. What would be easier for a novice DIY? I have searched all 55 pages here, sounds like I need to dig out the grass, use crushed stones?,some kind of sand? Which goes down first? Please help, thanks.
