I will be installing 5-V crimp metal roofing over my existing roof on my mobile home with a 2 in 12 roof pitch. The 5-V directions do not say to use a bead of silicone caulk in the valley where they overlap. I saw the video on the Bob Vila site, they show a bead of silicone caulk used in each overlaping panel valley as a sealant. Do I need to use the silicone caulk? |
