Hi,
In my 6 year old condo I've been having cooling problems with my A/C from the time I bought the property. We don't use the A/C that often and whenever we need to and we turn it on it doesn't cool the house. In the past 6 years I've called the A/C repair company about 3 times and everytime they say that the freon is low and they
recharged it and I hear that there may be a leak in the system. They looked at the A/C unit outside the house and ruled out that there is any leak there and suggested that the leak may be inside the house.
The question is, how easy or difficult is it to detect the leak inside the house. Does it involve tearing out the drywall and tracing the pipes to find the leak. And typically how much does it cost for this kind of a job.
btw, the condo has 3 levels and the A/C stuff is above the 3rd level in the attic. |
