I first noticed having Geodeck deterioration on June 22, 2008. One board started splitting and slight pressure caused the deck board to crumble. Pictures are available at http://mysite.verizon.net/jklinken/deck.htm showing the split board and hole. The deck was built in 2004, so I suspect I got the bad batch and this is just a preview of what is to come. What a nightmare – there is a lot of money, time and sweat tied up in this deck.
After calling Geodeck/LDI, I found out about the class action lawsuit against Kadant, so I Googled this site. I’ve already registered at http://geodeckclassaction.com/ to request to join the class action lawsuit being handled by Shepherd, Finkelman, Miller & Shah. Does anyone know if they handling all states or are there multiple class action lawsuits? Thanks, Jerry |
