Hello,
Personally I would like to know about an architecture software. I saw a cable show several months ago where they showed a before picture to a client and were able to show them the outcome using a computer software. And the outcome did not look like a cartoon picture. It appeared to me that the house was photographed prior to starting the project. Then with whatever tools the software had they were able to generate an after picture. This was very helpful to the client to actually see the outcome before it was done
I want to use this tool for my prospective clients. Thanks |

computer assisted Design is the way to go today. Softplan and Chief Architect are the two most widely used for residential work. They are object based and can be a help with estimating too.
The 3D picture you saw is a rendering and can be a great help in sales presentations and in helping a client understand a design. Most people are three dimensionally challenged and cannot typically visualize a spatial concept from the line drawings we call floor plans.
Excellence is its own reward!
