I was given the above furnace free, never been installed before. I know it's only an 80%, but that's alot better than the 30+ year old furnace my house currently has. I only have 2 problems: 1-there's no manual with the furnace. Does anyone know where I can get one? and 2-I'm no HVAC tech, but this furnace looks to me to be a downdraft model, maybe intended for a single story house, with the ductwork under the floor? My home is a 90yr old 2 story, with an updraft furnace in the basement. Is it worth the trouble to find a conversion kit for the Armstrong furnace? Or should I just sell it and put the money toward a newer furnace that's more in line with what I need? |
