In my old house, I have some asbestos insulation covering hot water pipes going from my furnace to the rads. What kind of covering can I put over the asbestos to seal it in?

Go to a small, quality paint store and tell them you ae going to encapsualte some fibrous asbestos insulation in a high temperature enviropnment. There are paints made for such.
