OK, Im new here so bear with me. Ive seen this question posted before but the answers seem to be a bit vague. We just bought a house built in 1951. It supposedly has asbestos roofing and siding. Ive done some research on asbestos and there seems to be a "good" kind and a "bad" kind. If its the bad kind, are there any grants or funding that will help with the removal/replacement costs? I've been told to leave it alone if there is nothing wrong with it, which there dosent seem to be other than the fact that it has moss growing on the north facing side. That dosent even bother us since we live on the Oregon/Idaho border it rains often. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
