Tommy,
That has to be the coolest setup for ripping thin strips of banding. I gotta tell ya I just had to give it a try. Spent the morning morning turning sticks into thin banding. Had a blast and filled the garage with saw dust
Regards from the left coast,

Hi
Hi tommy thats one wicket jig. I will be putting that bad boy to use in my own shop. Thanks. I just started watching your pods. didn't catch them in time to do the table with guys but maybe next project if you do this again. I think its cool that you do some thing like this. I just got interested in this style of furniture. I even designed a bookcase for the LumberJock Popular Woodwooding contest its the first time I ever enter any thing like like that. heres that link if you want to check it out. http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/joey/blog/4002
I don't think I'll win I think my piece is to complicated but you how that goes. hey you have a new fan I'll be watching. thanks for the Info

Joey,
The beauty of this internet classroom being taught by the Chizz is that you can jump in and reveiw the older post in the forum, get the procedures (agian from the forum), and watch the videos. I would suggest that you go ahead and start the Crazy Leg Table...it is a lot of fun.

Thanks, I may go back and work thur this table after I get my shop opened, I just rented a larger building and going full time again. so I have been swamped with trying to machines moved and new benches build not to mention trying to shake up some work. being both a college trained woodworker and a finish carpenter. I been trying to find some historical restoration to work on which I get set up. then I hope to work on just furniture both my own design and some period pieces. I even been thinking about going back to school. but hey watching guys like you are like getting some free education and I don't even have to apply for a pell grant lol. Really I think you do a great service and as soon as I can I grab me some stock and build me one of them crazy tables it sure would make a good sales tool in the shop.
later Joey

Forgot all about the sale |

Man, I totally spaced that sale. I even pin the flier on my board for all the good it did me. anyway I'm lucky enough to have a couple of hardwood sellers close and they both are very reasonable Willis Lumber as been selling hardwoods for 121 years and they ever dry their pine down to 7% and they are only 12 miles from home, just can't beat that. the other guy is a one man show and he is real competitive with his prices. and he's only about 18 miles and they both will deliver if I order over a 100' that leave going to Paxton Lumber for exotics and veneers.

Joey,
We have puchased shorts from Willis in the past. The other place up in that area I know of is Muterspaw, however, I have never been there. Is that where you are talking about? We are waiting for Hardwood and More to open in Milford to see what they will have. Got to run....
