First, let me say that the ice in my ice maker is frozen. It just takes a long time for it to empty. This screw that I'm talking about has to do with, not the way it freezes the water, but, to do with a timer built into the maker itself, & this either increases or decreases the speed of which it emptys. At least that's my recall from an A/C repair man, who suggested that to me. I want to make sure of this, before I start turning. I did turn it 1/4 turn & beleive it or not, it made a little more than usual! The temperature in the freezer is a constant 0-5 degrees which is unnecessary. As I've said, it's frozen cubes, in the tray, but, doesn't empty fast enough, & that's what I think that screw does. It increases the rotation , so that the tray emptys & fills agin. If you know anyone who's absolutely sure about this, PLEASE refer them to me, with any suggestions! thank you guys. I really do appreciate your responses. |
