If your miter saw won't turn enough...... you need to turn the wood instead.....
Maybe....depending on the saw/cut......
Attach a wedge to the fence to force the wood away from the fence to the cutting angle......
or......
Attach a table and fence 90º to the existing fence......Is the 65º within range now ?
In both cases you'll need to trim your stock to approximate length before attempting the miter......
