Have installed hardwoord floor in kitchen and joining family room. Replacing baseboard molding in hardwood floor area. Height of floor from hardwood floor into carpeted dining room/living room is approximately 1/2 inch higher (used 3/4" hardwood flooring). This is a wall (corner) that turns into the living room/dining room area from the kitchen with no transition. How do I transition baseboard molding from the higher height of the hardwood floor to the lower carpeted area?
