Chuck, I spoke to Ben at Berkshire yesterday and he told me they sent it out and it should be coming likely today or tomorrow. Have you gotten started on milling stuff up?

Veneer

Hey Chuck........you're to good to me with a previous post, Thanks.

This is perfect though, I was curious about the veneer myself, now I know. It's in the mail!!!!

Brian.....haven't started milling, I'm going to move along with the podcasts, in the hopes of bringing the forum to my mind-set of the build rather then taking off on my own, I'm thinking that over the course of the 80 to 100 hrs, I'll be ahead, then behind, then ahead again, but I want to stay within the group; for me that's going to be part of the fun. I don't want to miss a classic T-Mac/Al antic, whether in a post or podcast. I'm wondering if we'll see Eli's mug in this somewhere and there are some clever guys who post here that I look forward too.

JEEZZ......I'm awfully excited about this.

Thanks for the Berkshire update...Neil

Milling Lumber

04/01/2008 11:44 AM CMiddleton

Brian,

No I have not started any milling at this point. My thinking is similar to Neil's...Want to stay with the group. Attend week-long classes in the past and found that if the classes stays together things go alot smoother. With that being said, prior to classes starting all lumber was to be milled. I would suggest that we wait and hear what Master Chizz says.

Here another hint I learned while attending classes, everyone needs to have their lumber milled to the exact measurement that the instructor asks. If anyone does not, some of the precedures may not work as the should.
