Brick Foundation Repair

01/20/2002 07:03 PM SCOTTT

I have a home with a double thick brick foundation. A leaking roof caused the foundation to bow out in three areas. The damaged sections are about eight feet long, and the bowing is above grade. The footings are solid and the rest of the brickwork appears to be solid. I am not interested in cosmetics. Would shoring and removing the damaged sections and replacing with concrete block be a viable solution?
