I have heard of staining brick with dyebrick etc. but I am wondering if I purchased regular stain at Lowe's if it would do the same thing. I have the red 70's brick and would like to tint or stain them to be a grey with some black...any suggestions?
thanks,

Regular stains will produce a 'barrier' on your bricks and can also produce a false look.
We used dyebrick on our new addition to our home as it was recommended by the brick company.
You can see our results as we have recently uploaded our images to the Dyebrick Gallery. We were on page 11
Good luck,
