I am a single mom of a 16 year old and a 4 year old. My ex-fiance and I are splitting up. We currently life in a manufactured home on my property. He will be taking the home soon which leaves me homeless.

I talked with the bank and found out that I can finance enough to build a dome home without paying contractors. I can' even buy a house around here for that amount of money or pay rent of what the monthly payments are. Anyway I can not build the house myself so I have been calling around to see if I can find someone to put it together for me and some of the finish work will have to wait. I can not find anyone in this area who is not afraid of putting together a dome home kit.

I have been told that I could do it myself with a couple of friend. Problem is none of my friends can do that kind of work. Any suggestions would be great.

Building a dome home is a very LABOR intensive project.......

IF YOU can not provide the "cheap" labor yourself then you probably can not afford the experienced labor to construct it......

Better to reconsider the "financing" and perhaps buy something (Used?) similar to the existing housing........

Something that you might try looking into is the local high school shop class. I know sometimes some of them will have the kids work on projects like that at little or no cost to you.

Not all schools do it but you never know until you ask...
