This morning 9/12/04 on Home Again I saw a floor being put down with what looked like
3x6x1/2 inch butt cut boards. They used glue to put in down with and then a grout. Do any of you know what the grout was made out of? I think they said saw dust and maybe glue.
Thanks for the help.

My dad sent me to this site to find out how to make the saw dust grout so he can install a floor on our porch. He has some small rectangle tongue ingrooved pieces of wood that he wants to use for it but dont know how to make the grout. Can anyone help me on this.
Sized / Oil pre-finished / Beveled edges / End grain blocks......rubber-based adhesive........oil based sealer and sawdust
Hmmm........your flat boards won't glue or wear/warp the same as his end grain blocks.......and the T&G edges will hinder the "grout" application........sorry but it sounds prone to failure........
