POLIT LIGHT WILL NOT LIGHT, THE BLOWER COMES ON. AND THE 4 FLASHES INDICATE LIMIT SWITCH OPEN. COULDN'T FIND A RESET BUTTON WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE OR REPLACED. THANKS TAMMY |

i have the same problem, was able to fix it first time but not now. yes 4 flashes limit switch open. no reset button |

Thermal protection |

look at the thermal switches in the fan housing of your air handler. These look like little round disks. They can be hard to spot sometimes. If one of them is shorted open, the system will not work. You can order these on-line and they cost about $20.00. If you are mechanically inclined it beats the repair bill. |
