I have inheritted a 9" radial arm saw from dear old dad who purchased new in the late '60's, the model # is 113.29350. My problem is with the motor, or more specifically, the motor bearings. It has been outdoors for several years before I got it, and for several since and exposed to the elements which here in Phoenix amounts to heat, dust and the occaisional thunderstorm, it was under a covered patio but did get wet a few times, and over the years the bearings gave up. I have been able to find new bearings but I don't think this motor was intended to be taken apart and reassembled as it appears to be "glued" together. other than the bearings it worked great and I would like to keep it. ***** no longer stocks the motor (of course) so I come to this site looking for help. Any old stock, parting out a saw or simular model that will fit, or advise out there. It looks like I'm not the first one to experience this problem with the motor. The motor assembly # is 63008, and the complete motor assembly # is 63092. I'm a pretty handy kind of guy, but trying to "glue" this back together sounds like missing fingers, hands or other necessary body parts and unless I find a few other successful tries at it I think I'll pass. I thought lifetime gaurantee didn't end when it was no longer in stock, this is a concern as my house is well supplied by *****, and like me it ain't gettin any younger.
