Changing blade in a craftsman 10" contactor saw

01/22/2008 11:59 AM rwilso

I am trying to change the blade that came with the saw and put on my dado blade.

I cannot get it off.

I also cannot find my owners manual.

Changing blade in a craftsman 10" contactor saw

It's right to loosen for saw blade arbors. You may be trying left like a normal nut & bolt.
The reason being we'd rather the nut tightens with use rather than loosen and fly about the shop... ;^)
