How do I get rid of chipmunks, I've been using the have a heart cage but now it seems they have caught onto it, grab the food and go. They are making a mess in the front and backyard, holes everywhere. Please help. Thank you

I've had the same trouble in our yard for the past few years. I haven't tried that trap you mentioned, just an old fashioned pellet gun.
Be careful of the laws in your area though, most towns don't allow you to do that.
Mothballs are supposed to be a good deterant... or how about a cat? :)

PS - Myself, I don't like to use poisons that aren't going to work immediately as I worry about something else eating them later & getting poinsoned themselevs.
