Where have all the good contractors gone? It seems the custom home construction firms have sucked up all the great contractors and getting a remodel done is nearly impossible these days. The contractors you do find, don’t return phone calls, show up late or not at all, do not listen to your needs or quite frankly treat you like they are doing you a favor by being employed by you. This is a free market and we are able to choose the contractor of our choice but the decision is not easy and the investment is large and one that you have to live with for probably as long as you own your home so you want to do it right.
