Circuit Breaker Question

01/14/2005 04:42 PM jaing314

A few years ago an electrician did some re-wiring of our house as part of a kitchen re-modeling project. I am now wanting to add some overhead lights to an existing overhead lighting circuit. To determine the circuit breaker that controls this circuit, I turned on the lights, then flipped each 110 breaker on my panel, but the lights never went out! Could it be that this circuit is controled by two breakers that both have to be off to kill the circuit? I can always throw the main breaker - but that can't be right. I have found the cable in the attic that supplies the power to the switches but am not sure which breaker it comes from. Any help would be appreciated.
