We recently purchased a new home with light-colored Berber carpet. In the last days before moving in, a workman tracked red clay on the carpet. I have heard the only thing you can do is to vacuum it up when it dries, and that this will not clean stain completely. Do you know of a way to clean this type stain? Otherwise, we will have to ask the builder for new carpet.
