I am building a rec room, I will attempt to install 2 heat vents. I say attempt because I have never done any HVAC. I was wondering if it is necessary to install a cold air return. The rec room is in the basement, can a cold air return work if the return goes up? Thanks in advance Randy

Cold air returns allow the air to "Change" in the room(s). Without any air changes,Room would be pressureized causing uncomfortable temps. Returns can be run in floor, ceiling etc. HOLLYWOOD. |
