In today's television program (Sunday, July 31, the deck was constructed of a composite material that resists warping, shrinking, splintering, etc. However, I have heard that the colour fades over time, and the material cannot be stained or painted. Is is true? I have also heard that the material has not been in use long enough to know if this will be a problem. Thank you for any insights on this composite decking material.
