My basement has continuous (batt) insulation (with foil covering) around the perimeter conctete foundation walls. We are preparing to finish the space. In attempting to frame the perimeter walls I am inclined to cut through the insulation to accomodate the studs. Is this necessary, or should I just frame on top of the existing insulation? |
