Cool gas problem

It is very rare that a tube will lose gas running as a whole tube from outside to indoor unit. It can happen if someone nicks the tube with a nail. It can be found by isolating the tube from the indoor and outdoor units to see if pressure drops over some time. A leak at indoor coil or outdoor unit is easy to find with an electronic sniffer.

Whatever, an AC for a home is never manufactured to leak, that is a ruse from shoddy repairmen.
