Core drilling and anchoring in granite?

09/16/2009 01:31 PM grandprix5573

I'm currently working on a project where i will be installing wrought iron fencing in a granite curb. Heres the problem..... the posts are 2" sq. meaning i have to core at least a 3" hole, the curb is only 4" wide. So now im only left with 1/2" of granite on each side. My question is, is there a anchoring cement that will not crack the granite after hardening. I know there is non-shrink grout but I think what I need is something that wont expand alot. Also any other ideas would help too. Thank You
