Hi,

I'm in the process of cutting thru the wall between the kitchen and dining room to make
a pass thru counter. The wall is 6 ins thick and the projected hole will be 48 x 48. I plan to put a counter with the dimension of hexagon 36 x 21 x 21 approx with the sides cut at a 20 degree angle. This will be tiled (wife's choice).

Here is the dilemma: The wife wants some kind of light over the counter but she also want it in some kind of 'hood' much like a range hood.
What kind of lights would you recommend? And any ideas in the "hood"?
