No, this isn't a new room, but a outside porch on the front of the house. What was there before was a 6-by-7 foot concrete pad outside the front door, with no protection overhead. We chose to extend a porch from the concrete, 16 feet across the front of the house. We now have a under-roof porch that is 23 feet long and 6 feet wide. My dilemma is how to match up the level of the concrete surface with the level of the wood decking on the new structure. There is a 3/8-inch difference at the house, sloping to a 1-inch difference at the point ****hest from the house, which is 6-feet-out. |
