Craftsman 113.19771 radial arm saw question

09/09/2004 09:55 AM Vol4Ever

A friend of my father recently gave me this saw. I've got it all cleaned up and oiled, and it looks great! The saw came without a table. I have the owner's manual, but it only shows the table parts . . . . no dimensions. I want to make sure I have correctly sized pieces so the rip scales on the saw frame read properly.

Can someone provide me with sizes (LxWxH) for these pieces:

Rear table (PN: 63675)
Spacer board (PN: 63429)
Rip fence (PN: 63432)
Front table (PN: 63674)

Thanks!

Good news for you guys

Wow. A year & a half later, my thread came back to life!! Anyway, I've got great news for all of you. I later found out that this particular model saw was subject to a mfr recall. The blade guards aren't considered adequate.

Go to http://www.radialarmsawrecall.com/index2.htm and plug in your model and serial numbers.

Mine was in there. I called the 800# & got a huge box full of stuff INCLUDING A BRAND SPANKING NEW TABLE. Completely free including shipping!

Good luck. I hope you are as lucky as I was.

recall kit

03/03/2006 10:51 AM wgvan42

WAY COOL! the blade guard IS a POS. mine broke over a decade ago. bad design on the clamping collar. not enough metal.

i just ordered my kit. i was about to order a new blade guard from sears at $70+

on the tables. i would suggest using the new one u get(its probably particleboard) as a pattern, and make one from cabinet grade plywood.

there are also some good variations on rip fences that can be helpful

******** does anyone know if there is a modling/dado guard still available for this machine? i have had no luck even finding a part number as yet. ******

good information

04/19/2008 08:21 PM adamst

Thanks for the information above. I just bought a craftsman model 113.19771 at a garage sale today and searched the internet for information about it (which led me here). I found a manual at http://www.owwm.com/files/PDF/Craftsman/113-19771.pdf for the person who asked about one.

I also couldn't link to the recall page above but after another search I found a recall page at "www.radialarmsawrecall.com" and was able to order a kit. I will see what happens and perhaps repost.
