Ok, I have a strange one, I think. My garage door won't open in the morning. It will go up only a foot then stops. It usually will open after about 8:30 am which means I am parking my car on the street so I can get to work. Any ideas on this one?

Most likely the Up Force Limit needs to be adjusted.

But first disconnect the opener from the door and manually operate the door. The door should be balanced, if opened 1/2 it should stay in that position, and operate smoothly. If not get the door fix.

If there is no problem with a door then you need to adjust the opening force limit on the door.
