NOT REALLY AN EXPERT, BUT I WOULD GO WITH A CRAWL SPACE. MY DEN IS ON A SLAB, AND IT IS BY FAR THE COLDEST ROOM IN THE HOUSE. I JUST BUILT AN ADDITTION, AND WENT THROUGH THE TROUBLE TO PUT A CRAWL IN. RUNNING DUCTWORK FOR VARIOUS HEATING/COOLING SYSTEMS IS EASIER TOO. OTHER THAN COST, I CANNOT THINK OF AN ADVANTAGE TO THE SLAB. |

Just letting you know we have had plumbing problems and the only way to professionally fix it will cost us thousands, mainly due to it being a slab foundation. And with a crawl space or basement you would have access to the pipes instead of them being dug up or the concrete slab having to be cut. |
