I have recently installed (properly) Brazilian Koa 5" Prefinished Bellawood flooring that cupped within a month. Cupping is consistant throughout the flooring. Flooring was installed properly with vapor barrior underlayment, over a dry basement. Flooring acclimated for a month in the air conditioned house prior to install. Lumber Liquidators has tried to blame everyone except their flooring. The wood used is very oily (like teak), I believe the cupping occurred because the floor was prefinished it could not dry out evenly and the varnished side caused the cupping. Anyone have an answer??
