I live in South Florida and it was hard to actually find a business that would help me figure out what i needed in the way of hurricane panel, size and quantity. While at the same time let me walk out with them. They all said i need a permit to install them and bla bla bla.They wanted me to use their installer and lowes was no help at all. What ever happend to the do it yourself spirit in america, then i came by a store in Hollywood, FL called Cash & Carry Hurricane Shutters. I was impressed by the you can do it spirit they imposed on me,they showed me what i needeed and explained everything.I had a problem with my sliding glass door so I took a picture and sent it to them and they explained a sturdy work around. so i am writing this to all you do it yourself people out there, who do not want to give in to the, you can't do it belief that hangs. For anyone who knows the area they are on the SW corner of I-95 and Stirling. My hat is off to them.
