Dated bathroom

09/15/2007 09:17 AM rijor23

I have a question for everyone. My home was built in the late 1960's. I have a guest bathroom that I want to update. Right now the bathroom has a sink with attached cabinet, a toilet, and a bathtub with corresponding shower. I am leaning towards getting a pedastal sink, new toilet, wall to ceiling tiles, faux ceiling, and new electrical work. My dilemia is that I am unsure what to do with the bathtub/shower component part of the bathroom. This is a guest bathroom. Would a corner shower be more stylish? Do I close the bathroom off to just a sink and toilet? Also, what to do with a medicine chest cabinet? Any suggestions people have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the assistance in advance.
