I am making a kitchen cabinet door with muntins laid out in a diamond pattern. I have completed the frame and cut the strips for the muntins. I tried laying out the muntins in a diamond pattern, using a given set of angles and distances, but that results in odd locations where the muntin ends intersect the frame. It became obvious that the diamond pattern has to be done to custom fit the frame, not the other way around. Is there a formula to follow for making the diamond pattern to hit the frame at regular intervals?
