I installed a new 36" Steel Door in one of my properties 2 weeks ago. Last week there was a fire across the alley that damaged the vinyl siding of my house. The local fire department broke the jamb on the door (yeah, the one I just installed) to make sure that there was no evidence of an internal fire. The door was locked through the handle and the deadbolt so there is a sizeable piece of the jamb missing now. Has anyone had experience in repairing a jamb or should I just replace the entire door? Thanks, -a12vman |
