I'm attempting to replace heat elements in my water heater. When I attach the garden hose to drain, nothing comes out. I have also open release valve, still no results in the drain valve but water is draining from the release valve although after 5-7 gallons, it's slowing to a drip.
I'm concerned there might be a lot of sediment but how do I determine that? Thanks in advance for your help.
