Dressing up an in-stock laminate countertop

08/21/2007 10:41 PM jwb23897

For our renovated kitchen, we've decided on an in-stock laminate countertop that we can take home without having to special-order. However, that rules out special edges (my favorite is bullnose). I want to put a custom edge all around the countertop, not only to dress up the laminate, but to also prevent water from splashing out of the sink and damaging the under-edge (a problem I've had in the past). What edgings can we use that would be readily available in a home store?

Thanks.
