Drilling Terra cotta

07/11/1999 04:22 PM

I need to drill a 1" diameter hole in the bottom of a "terra cotta" fire pot (fireplace made of flowerpot material) without cracking or breaking the surface. What cutter will do the job?

You might try a hole saw
