Dryer Vent Louver Replacements

** I think I have an odd sized dryer vent lover attachment. The plastic louvers are ~5" long and 1-3/4" high. **

I can't see that being a dryer vent and have my doubts it would be adequate in many cases (see the link below). It may have originally been for some other purpose and just utilized for the dryer because it was there.

LINK > How long can my dryer vent be?

** I am at a loss of trying to find the manufacturer of this type of end connection. **

You can likely have something custom made by a tin smith or an HVAC installer but I would advise you to install a proper dryer vent cover to avoid any problems with the functioning of the dryer (especially newer models with all their built-in safety fuses/cutouts, etc.)
