We have just completed a new addition to our home. The drywall dust is everywhere and just keeps appearing. I dust and vacuum and the next morning there is a fresh layer on everything. We have a 2 1/2 year old toddler and a 2 month old baby....I am beginning to worry. We were out of the house during the construction and moved in about 2 weeks after drywall was complete. Is the dust going to give my children asthma? Is it toxic? Any suggestions on eliminating it ASAP. We can only keep the windows open so much since we live in South Florida and it is regularly over 80 degrees.
