Ep. 13 & 14.... marking knife?

Hey Tommy, what do you use for a marking knife?

I think the knife left too big of a mark when I traced this.... I started chiseling in the knife mark but the joint has a tiny even space all around it

Do I need a lighter touch or a thinner knife?

This is tricky stuff... half of this one was all knotty... a bit of one of the inside corners broke out with part of the knot.... I still have 6 more to do better on...

yo..... that looks great to me....i use a scapulae you can get them from www.whithechaple.com this is where i get the locks and stuff...but just score the line and when you get ready to start to chisel ...do what i did in the first video on dovetails...if you go to aggressive with the first stab cut...you move the line...but i think that looks superb....good luck with the others....

I think the hardware link T-Chisel is referring to is:
http://www.whitechapel-ltd.com

The scalpels are located from a link on the left hand side under “Popular Catagories”.

Ya it does look good, because the camera doesn't like to zoom in real far... ha!.... then you'd see the tiny crack
