Can a title company ask you for $5000.00 after three months for an error they made? |

I wouldn't think so but I'll bet your Mortgage company can. Did the title company not take enough money to escrow property taxes and hazzard insurance? |

They said it was written wrong who was going to pay the Lender Fees the buyer or the seller. I am the buyer and the title papers that were signed said the seller would pay them, so now 3 months after the close the Title company is trying to get blood from a turnup. |

Call an attorney. Make sure it is a real estate attorney not general practive. You have a signed and notarized document from your closing (notarized by the title company). Did both you and the seller have attorneys read over everything before signing? Sounds like the title company may be out some cash. Since it's signed and notarized if anyone owes it I would think it would be the seller. Good Luck...let us know what happens |

that is pretty odd, generally once it is closed that is it, and escrow disputes should be taken care of before it can close. Definately contact a REAL ESTATE attorney and let them know what is going on
