We are building a cottage on stilts in Massachusetts. This is a 6 month (april-Oct)only community of cottages. There is 2ft high of crawl space at the front and 5 ft high in the back. The builder is putting panel insulation between the floor joists underneath. What other insulations/sealing etc should I do. I'm concerned about bees, animals, mold etc. We plan on using the under side of the cottage to store bikes, beach chairs etc. Should I fill in the insulation gaps using the foam in a can? Should I screen the under side of the floor?
