We just tried turning on our ac in our new house (just moved in spring 2005) but all it does is blow warm air. I went out to the side of the house to check if the exterior unit was working and nothing was on. The fan wasn't spinning and there wasn't even a hint of condensation. I tried turning ac switch in the fuse box and nothing. Turned the switch in the box(on the house next to the exterior unit) on and off and still nothing. I tried setting to thermostat to 50 and turned it to cool of course and still nothing. Any suggestions? |

If you have all the power swtiches and breakers on, the thermostat set to COOL and the temperature set down, then the unit does not come on, it is time for a service company.

Yeah HK you're right. I just talked to some of my neighbors and it turns out we have to call some professionals to install something or turn something on. Every single house last summer had to have this done. Makes alot of sense (sarcasm)... |
